The Atmosphere of the Shepherd's Rest:

The cultivated atmosphere of the Shepherd's Rest is one of quietness, simplicity and serenity. In addition to the quiet privacy afforded in your room, there are other quiet indoor sitting areas, and when the weather permits there are outdoor sitting areas on the grounds and down near the creek. Because of our commitment to provide a quiet and serene environment, we are not able to accommodate children of any age. During your stay all meals are provided, and your sole requirement is to participate in the evening meal where we eat in community.

Location:

Shepherd's Rest is located in the foothills of the Cascades in Southwest Washington near Battle Ground, which is about 30 minutes from the Portland International Airport. When you receive and accept our invitation a detailed map will be sent to you

Cost:

The Shepherd's Rest is funded by people who love pastors and desire for pastors to have time away with God. Thus there are no costs for couples engaged in a pastoral ministry and who have a desire and commitment to come away for an intentional season of spiritual and relational renewal.

Length of Stay:

A good quantity of time is necessary for quality rest and renewal, and thus we ask our guests to arrive on Sunday afternoons and to stay for three to five days. Please check the calendar for designated weeks.
