Hello, we're Cori and Joel, together we run a world-schooling community in the heart of the beautiful mountain village of Oria, Andalusia. A place where families can come together, slow down and reconnect.

It isn't a regular Worldschooling hub.

This has been our home for over 11 years.

Shepherd’s Rest is where our family home is, with three self contained apartments (check the website for more info).

Cortijo Serendipia is a community farmhouse that has five apartments with shared communal spaces (more info on website).

We welcome home-educating & adventurous families from across the world into our supportive community here in rural Andalucía.

That means there's always someone to welcome you, answer questions, share local knowledge or simply have a chat over coffee.

Need to know where the best places to visit? Which village is celebrating a fiesta this weekend? Needing a recommended mechanic… or where the 24hr medical centre is? Just ask us!

Children quickly find friends to bond with, while parents connect over shared meals, conversations and days out together.
